Today is Stewardship Sunday

“But do not neglect to do good and to share what you have,  for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.”  Hebrews 13:15-16

Over the past three weeks you have heard powerful personal stories from fellow parishioners about their experiences with stewardship and many of you have attended the In-Home Stewardship conversations. We have asked you to use this time to give prayerful consideration to how you can contribute your time, talents and treasures to the Cathedral, and consider what your fullest capacity is to give so that we can offer God’s love back into the world without compromise.

Today, in thanksgiving for all God has given us, we will take the courageous step to approach the altar and place our stewardship offerings on the table in support of the Cathedral ministries in 2018. After the regular offertory, please come forward reverently and place your completed pledge cards in the offering plate on the altar.

You should have received your pledge card in the mail.  But if you need one, you will find a pledge card in this Sunday’s bulletin, in the pocket in the back of each pew or ask for one from the ushers.
