Our Thrift Shop is a valuable place for people to become engaged with the life of our neighborhood. Follow us on Facebook to keep up with the latest special deals!
The Thrift Shop is located at 1406 Central Ave. SW, Albuquerque, NM.
Hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
Parking available in front of the shop or in the small parking lot at 14th and Central.
The Shop started in the 1960’s as an outreach of the Women of the Cathedral. It was originally located at the corner of 3rd and Silver, but soon outgrew that location, eventually settling at the current building after several moves.
Volunteers work on-site with sorting donations, display arrangement, sales, and seasonal areas. Volunteers who can work off-site to attend estate sales and pick up items at these events are also needed on a regular basis. Volunteers are men and women who are Cathedral members and friends.
Donations of clothing, household items, etc. can be made to the Shop via the box at the Cathedral or deliver to the Shop. Items need to be clean and in good, usable condition (no holes, buttons missing, chips, etc.).
Proceeds from the Shop benefit outreach ministries at the Cathedral and elsewhere in Albuquerque, such as St. Martin’s. Recently the Cathedral and Thrift Shop were recognized for their support of St. Martin’s with monetary and human resources.
